1957年生。1976年从事紫砂陶事。1977年于江苏省宜兴陶校学习。1986年毕业于无锡轻工职大美术装潢专业。正高级工艺美术师，中国艺术研究院紫砂研究院研究员，联合国教科文组织国际陶艺学会会员。中国工艺美术大师，中国陶瓷艺术大师, 中国美术家协会会员。江苏省陶协陶瓷艺术委员会主任、《江苏陶艺》主编。
Wu Ming, born in 1957. In 1976 he was engaged in the work of Zisha pottery. He studied in Yixing Pottery School of Jiangsu Province in 1977.
